Introducing STD Industries' JDS low pressure regulator for the ICD Freestyle marker.  Constructed of aircraft quality aluminum and featuring pressure compensating technology, the JDS LPR is a must-have for all competitive players.

The pressure compensating design of the JDS regulator ensures output pressure set points won't shift as upstream pressure changes.  The JDS is the first step in making sure your marker is as consistent as possible.  Coupled with an extremely quick recharge rate--faster than any human can pull the trigger--the JDS regulator takes the Freestyle to the next level.

An ICD approved regulator, the JDS is backed by STD Industries' lifetime warranty.

What is "pressure compensating technology" and why do I need it?

The JDS line of regulators utilize pressure compensating technology to overcome LPR pressure fluctuations that are the result of changes in upstream pressures.  As upstream pressures raise or drop, (such as when your tank gets low) the set point of regular LPR's drift.  The JDS LPR overcomes this design issue by utilizing air pressure to offset the forces that cause drift.

Another benefit of the JDS LPR is a recharge rate that's faster than the stock regulator.  Under high rates of fire, some regulators can't keep up, resulting in LPR pressures dropping off.  This can cause shoot-down in some brands of markers.

Is the JDS LPR a copy of AKA's SCM or SCM2?  Is it susceptible to pressure creep?

No.  Designed by Aaron K. Alexander (namesake and founder of AKA), the JDS LPR features a design different from AKA's LPR.  The JDS design is not prone to creeping.

Is the JDS LPR a drop-in accessory for my marker?

Yes.  The JDS LPR requires no modification of the marker for installation.  The JDS LPR simply screws into the front of the marker, in the same manner as the stock LPR.  Pressure is adjusted using a 5/32" allen wrench.

Will the JDS LPR void the factory warranty of my marker?

No.  Indian Creek Designs, manufacturer of the Freestyle, has approved our low pressure regulator for use on its markers, making our regulator the only after-market regulator approved by ICD.
