That means no shipping this week, as we spend our time relaxing on the beaches of the St. Thomas, drinking mixed drinks during the day and gambling away our fortunes at night--we wish. STD Industries Releases Low Pressure Regulator for WDP Angel Speed and ICD Freestyle FS7/05 Pro STD Industries is happy to announce the release of two new models of its popular JDS line of low pressure regulators. The JDS Angel LPR for the Speed and the JDS Freestyle LPR for the FS7/05 Pro. The JDS line of regulators utilize pressure compensating technology to overcome LPR pressure fluctuations which stem from changes in upstream pressures. This flaw is inherent in all non-pressure compensating regulators, due to design limitations. As upstream pressures raise or drop, (such as when your tank gets low) the set point of regular LPR’s drift. The JDS LPR overcomes this design issue by utilizing air pressure to offset the forces that cause drift. Another benefit of the JDS LPR is a recharge rate that’s faster than the stock regulator found on most markers. Under high rates of fire, some regulators can’t keep up, resulting in LPR pressures dropping off. The resulting effect is known as shoot-down. The JDS line of LPRs were designed to provide an exceptional flowrate--so much flow that it can supply enough air to function as an inline reg (see the videos on our site). JDS Angel LPR for the Speed The JDS Angel LPR is compatible with the Speed, 4, 4 Fly, Speed 5, Speed 6, and G7. The reg is externally adjustable and factory set at 65 psi. This drop-in replacement eliminates the need to disassemble your marker to adjust the LPR pressure. JDS Freestyle LPR for FS7/05 Pro The newest variant of our Freestyle LPR offers a heavier springing to meet the higher pressure needs of the Freestyle FS7 and the 05 Pro. The new spring matches the pressure ranges of the ICD stock LPR. An upgrade kit is available for FS7 and 05 Pro owners who already have the JDS Freestyle LPR.
